Horror Short Review: The Call (2026)
From the High Low Productions YouTube channel comes The Call, a super-short indie horror that sees a man waking up in the woods. Disorientated, and with no idea of how he got there, he attempts to find a way out.
As he wanders through the woods, the only signs of life come from the call of birds, or at least that is what it sounds like.
There’s a monster in the woods and it’s AI generated. A choice that immediately lowers the quality of the short. Even without the ugliness of the AI, it’s not exactly an inspiring short. Coming across fairly amateur and a little cringeworthy.
