EP Review: liveconformdie – Die In My Prime (Self Released)
Modern deathcore outfit liveconformdie return with ‘Die in My Prime’, their brand-new EP. Out on October 9th, 2026.

The next stage of liveconformdie is here and it comes with new ideas, new directions, and new levels of genre-bending viciousness. It’s a pretty damn cool record overall, even if mileage might vary track by track.
For example, I can really get behind a noisy, chaotic, and angry effort like Who Have I Been Praying To? It’s the kind of brutish behaviour that appeals to me. Whereas Heart Eater’s jagged nu-infused rhythms don’t quite have the same appeal. Although there is a certain sort of anthemic value to it, especially when things break down nicely at the end.
Then there is Die in my Prime and Attitude Adjustment, two of the longer tracks. The former is fast and sees liveconformdie embrace electronica in challenging ways. The latter does the same but in a more familiar way. Maybe it’s just me, but I got shades of old-school nu-metal throughout this track.
I’m not always the biggest fan of nu-metal being brought back and liveconformdie certainly test my limits, but I do like the way they twist it. Especially as their use of electronica is creative and there isn’t a single track that doesn’t go so damn hard. That is why I find myself thoroughly enjoying being battered by Rebirth and Soul Devourer.
It’s an EP with so much depth, unexpected considering how ugly and harsh it is. They’re a band with tons of creativity and I think it is fair to say that this EP is showcasing just how far that creativity is extending now.
