I went into The Exit 8 hoping that it would be good but puzzled as to how the game could ever work in film format. While it has taken some liberties with the horror side of things, it has delivered a film to remember.
Did you know that L. Frank Baum’s original 1900 book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is in the public domain? Well, it is, and that means horror filmmakers devoid of creativity have another property to try and make some money off.
They really don’t make them like this anymore. Though there is probably a reason for that, even though I did get a kick out of the film.

Written and directed by Lucas K. Labrecque, Envelop is a film you forget the moment it ends. Not only is it mind-numbingly boring, but it’s an incoherent mess with frustrating editing, awful visuals, and seriously suspect acting.
This is not a drama though; it is a horror and there’s simply not enough of that to warrant its existence as a horror film version of Betty Boop.
Written by Owen Egerton and directed by Corin Hardy, a supernatural horror film about a cursed Aztec death whistle doesn’t exactly sound exciting, does it?
Promising way more than it can deliver, Bari Kang’s Itch! is a disappointing watch in the end, and all because the weightier aspects of the film fail to land.
