An Exploration of ‘Etheric Realms of the Night’ – The Creative Multimedia Journey of IATT

On May 8th, 2026, IATT returned with their most immersive and conceptually daring work to date, Etheric Realms of the Night, released through Black Lion Records. The album unfolds as a continuous narrative that explores the fragile boundary between sleep and oblivion, consciousness and illusion, life and whatever waits beyond it.

Accompanying the album is a full companion film that visually realises the narrative behind the music. Presented as a continuous sequence of interconnected videos, the film follows a young woman struggling with insomnia who turns to sleeping pills in search of rest. As the story unfolds, she is drawn deeper into a dream world where the boundary between hallucination and reality collapses. Each chapter mirrors the psychological descent heard in the album, moving through sleep paralysis, night terrors, and encounters with mysterious dream entities before culminating in a haunting final transformation. Designed to be experienced alongside the record, the film expands Etheric Realms of the Night into a unified audiovisual journey where music, symbolism, and story move together.
