On a sunny Sunday Kentish Town prepares itself for an onslaught of Bodycount fans, all coming for one reason. Bodycount feat. the legendary ICE T at The Forum – also featuring Slope on support.
It’s a night of boundary-pushing music, indefinable heaviness, and genre-bending intensity. Singaporean grindcore legends Wormrot are in London, they have Morne and Harrowed with them, and The Underworld is full of fans ready to lose their minds to some seriously heavy music.
EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney), a multi-arts space, isn’t the first venue that comes to mind when thinking of a night of blackened metal. Yet, darkness has fallen over Dalston in London as the mighty Wolves in the Throne Room have arrived, with support coming from the vibrant Gaerea and the moody Mortiferum.
Industrial post-metal band, Tribe of Ghost are in town, and they’ve brought along riffy metallers Gutlocker and electronic-metalcore band, Face the Wolves with them.
Another Slam Dunk is in the bag! Our third year in a row attending the South edition (fourth overall as we did the North in 2021) and another thoroughly enjoyable experience. This is the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Slam Dunk 2024 – South.
Scene Queen at Troxy in London – lot of firsts for me tonight then as I head to a venue for the first time, to see a band for the first time in Scene Queen, who are out on the road as main support to PVRIS, with additional support from Sophie Powers.
Electric Brixton is playing host to one hell of a line-up tonight. Metalcore band Landmvrks are in town and they’ve brought The Devil Wears Prada, Like Moth to Flames, and Guilt Trip with them.
