Horror Short Review: THE BOX (2026)
A film by Alex Bale and starring Matthew Swift, it might take you longer to read this review of THE BOX than it will to actually watch the short. Seeing as it only comes in at 50 seconds, credits included.
The story is super simple. A man finds a box in his kitchen. He didn’t put it there, so curious, he opens it, and what he finds shocks him to his core.
No spoilers as there is simply no need, but I can assure you that the reveal is creative. Although calling it a horror might be pushing it. It’s filmed well, has suitably sinister music, and Matthew Swift does a great job in the lead role portraying confusion and fear when he opens the box.
It is definitely worth a watch.
