Horror Short Review: Are You Okay? (2026)
Not every cry for help is meant to be answered.
Are You Okay? comes from Ashlyn Khan and tells a very effective horror story that also has something to say about the day-to-day fears women face in the world.
A young woman (played by Ashlyn Khan) has gone out for a run in the park and decides to stop at a public bathroom. A potentially dangerous decision and not one she takes lightly, but needs must. The bathroom appears to be empty, until she hears the sound of someone crying from another stall.
Ramping up the terror effectively, and paying it off in chilling fashion, Are You Okay? rises above some of its amateur aspects to deliver something well worth seeing. It’s effectively creepy, and smartly, allows the viewer’s imagination to fill in plenty of the blanks. Check it out below.
