EP Review: Inherited – ALL 4 ONE (Mascot Records)

It’s time to get two-stepping, albeit with a bit more groove than hardcore is known for, with Inherited. The groove-hardcore youngsters from Zeeland, Netherlands, will release their new EP, ‘ALL 4 ONE’ on October 2nd, 2026, via Mascot Records.

It’s not just an injection of groove that makes ALL 4 ONE a kickass release, it’s the fact that Inherited bring a crunchy level of metal heaviness to their hardcore sound. Blending the more ‘in your face’ style of the past with the ‘spin kick your face off’ style of now. The result is four brash and brutish efforts, and one head banger of an INTRO.

The instrumental intensity of that start and how Inherited transition into the aggression of WASTED SPACE is pretty damn special. High and heavy energy, growling vocals that come with a threatening edge, and encouraging rhythmic violence, it’s a vicious start.

Though delivering vicious music is characteristic of Inherited and WON’T BREAK follows that with plenty of gurn-inducing intensity. The gang vocals are cool, but it’s all about the breakdown. I really dig this track, but as far as crowd pleasing groove-heavy efforts go, it’s all about the title track. A hefty piece that will leave you seeing stars, but with a silly grin on the face.

A banging EP that confirms Inherited are ones to watch. Doing it differently and in very stylish fashion.
