To the Grave – Life Among the Septics

To the Grave, the world’s preeminent vegan deathcore band, proudly unleash their new track, ‘Life Among the Septics’, the fourth single taken from their upcoming BLKIIBLK debut album, ‘Liberation Front’, set for release on 2nd October.

On the new single, bassist Matt Clarke shares:

This song was us leaning hard back into the same influences as our ‘Director’s Cuts’ album. It’s got all those elements in it: bouncy riffs, some fast stuff and just lots of dynamics. We’re looking forward to playing this one on the upcoming tours…that start today. Australia now, North America in two weeks!

For the video, we wanted to do something a bit different to the other performance videos. We got a bunch of our mates to come down and hang with us. We did something that’s somewhere between serious and fun.

As extreme as ever, To the Grave are back and in a vitriolic mood. Delivering a furious and focused blast of deathcore that has bounce and groove, making it a surefire head buster and teeth-rattler live. It’s a track that goes very hard, simple as that.

Remote Viewing – Disrespect the Arts

London based “acidic” sludge band Remote Viewing have released the brand-new single, ‘Disrespect the Arts’. This will be the second single to be taken from their forthcoming fourth LP ‘State Violence’, to be released on Human Worth on September 18th.

Showcasing a thick and nasty sounding style of sludge that comes with noise-style experimental touches, this new Remote Viewing track will leave your ears ringing. It’s the kind of track you must play loud too, raw and chaotic, but hugely appealing.

Save Us – Cry

Transcontinental trio Save Us have released their new single ‘Cry’, the latest track from their debut album ‘Death To Something’, due October 16th via Solid State Records.

Says vocalist Miguel Owls:

‘Cry’ is a song I’m so glad made it onto the album. We sat on this one for almost two years, and it was one of the first tracks where we really leaned into a more pop-driven sound. There’s something special about this one – it stuck with us the whole time and we never let it go.

An interesting track that show off a different side to Resolve, although not to the extent that they are unrecognisable. It’s Resolve really exploring their poppier side and in doing so, finding a deeper and more heartfelt layer to their sound. It’s going to turn some people off, but plenty more will eat it up.

Boss Keloid – Landslide

UK prog titans, Boss Keloid. Their sixth studio album ‘Float & Aperture’ is set for release on October 23rd via Church Road Records. The band kick starts this next chapter with the lead single ‘Landslide’.

Says the band:

This song has many meanings throughout its lyrical content. The main story is about learning to accept that we are all our own worst enemy, and that when you realise this, life does get easier.

One of the weirdest and most wonderful bands in the world are back and everything seems that little bit brighter. Especially when they’re delivering a lengthy showcase of their innate quirkiness, finding new experimental territories to explore, and pushing their sound to more dramatic highs. This is Boss Keloid at their most epic sounding, and the vocals really reflect that, but it’s also them at their most laidback. All this, and more, packed into a nine-ish-minute slice of utter brilliance.

Carnation – Labyrinth of Silence

Belgian death metal force Carnation return with their new single and video, ‘Labyrinth of Silence’, the latest track from their upcoming fourth full-length album, ‘Symphony In Flesh’, out October 16th, 2026.

Ugly, harsh, and really bloody heavy, it’s new Carnation and it is going to leave you feeling like you’ve been pummelled to a pulp. Although it is interesting to hear how the band use melody to create a more disconcerting, but exciting, sound. It’s death metal, but death metal with layers.

Blind Channel – Stars We See

Finnish modern metal outfit Blind Channel serves the next musical glimpse of their upcoming studio album, ‘Painstream’. The new single called ‘Stars We See’ transforms an existential crisis into a powerful message of hope, reminding humanity that life’s fleeting nature is what makes it meaningful.

The band comments:

We’re incredibly relieved and grateful to have our band back, and absolutely blown away by the response to the first new releases. ‘Stars We See’ is a sneak peek to the new soundscapes and themes we discovered during our break and it represents the more hopeful side of the upcoming album.

Sounding stronger than ever, Blind Channel’s confidence is reflected in a catchy and heartfelt tune that feels raw (especially the vocals) but expertly refined. It’s a track that gets better and better as it goes on, and gets well and truly stuck in the head for hours afterwards.

Resolve – Spread My Ashes into Space

French heavyweights Resolve have announced their forthcoming new album, ‘Spread My Ashes into Space’, set for release on January 15th, 2027, via Arising Empire. Alongside the announcement, the band have shared the album’s title track.

If this track is anything to go by then it looks like Resolve are going to be setting the bar very high come January 2027. A unique and dramatic intro that leads effortlessly into an explosion of powerful and passionate metalcore, the intensity increasing as it goes on, it’s a classy track.

Underdark – Non Linear Warfare

Underdark’s new single ‘Non Linear Warfare’ comes from their newly announced album ‘O Come Forth Annihilation’, out 6th November via Church Road Records.

Says the band:

Non Linear Warfare is the first single from OCFA. The track grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go, each movement only building in the intensity of the last until it finally explodes. The song is about how they lie to you, how they have lied to you, and how they will continue to lie to you until you find a way to disconnect.

The next chapter of Underdark is underway and we should all be so vey excited. Especially as this first single sets the bar very high. A glorious explosion of post metal, black metal, and post-hardcore that comes with a potent message. This is Underdark at their angriest, and that ferocity crashes and smashes its way through the mind, at least until around the halfway mark when a simple melody takes over. The build back up to noisy blackened carnage is simply awesome.

Royal Sorrow – Covert

Royal Sorrow return with ‘Covert’, the first single after their acclaimed debut album ‘Innerdeeps’ (2025).

The band explains:

Covert is a meditation on transformation and the will to live on despite hardships. It is a journey of growth through fire. Change is never easy, but sometimes pushing through the pain is necessary to become the most authentic version of yourself.

With anticipation for what Royal Sorrow do next being at an all-time high, the melodic modern metal band step up to that demand by releasing a new track that stuns. Uniquely structured, cleverly paced, filled with expressive harmonies, and plenty of heaviness too, it promises an exciting future for this band.

Darkest Hour – Suffer Divine

Metal juggernauts Darkest Hour have announced the release of their 11th studio album, ‘Suffer Divine’, which will land 30th October via MNRK Heavy. In celebration, the band have released the title track.

Vocalist John Henry says:

Our first single and title track of the new album Suffer Divine is about justice and accountability. This one goes out to anyone who chooses to push and peddle hatred and division, to anyone who would break down others to feed their sadistic, insatiable ego.

A short and sharp metallised attack that comes with melodeath touches, thrashy intensity, just a pinch of metalcore, and plenty of groove too. It’s Darkest Hour doing what they do best, no frills, and straight to the point, and it kicks a ton of ass.
