News: Death Has Spoken announce first-ever vinyl release of their album “Elegy”
Polish death-doom metal band Death Has Spoken announce the first vinyl release in the band’s history. Nearly a year after its original CD and digital release, Elegy finally arrives in the format it was always meant for. Released by Meuse Music Records, the 180g black vinyl edition is limited to just 200 copies worldwide.
Originally released in October 2025, Elegy is the band’s third full-length album and brings to a close the trilogy that began with Fade.
Across seven original compositions, the album combines crushing heaviness, melancholic melodies and atmospheric song writing while continuing Death Has Spoken’s exploration of mortality, loss and the unknown.
The album’s physical journey is now complete.

Pressed on high-quality 180g black vinyl, the release includes the original album artwork, a full-size insert with lyrics and a band photo. The vinyl edition was mastered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric) at Priory Recording Studios, Birmingham, UK. To make the most of the vinyl format and ensure the highest possible audio quality, the band chose to dedicate this edition exclusively to the seven original compositions that define Elegy. Due to the format’s running time limitations, the Agalloch cover included on the original CD and digital editions is not featured on the vinyl.
The vinyl edition will be released on September 11, 2026 via Meuse Music Records and will be available through the label’s official store, the band’s Bandcamp page and at the band’s live shows.
