Horror Short Review: Look Up (2026)

I think the most horrifying thing about Look Up is the sight of someone jogging in the countryside in a shirt and cargo pants. No wonder the character looks exhausted.

Jokes aside, the actual horror aspects of Look Up are intriguing. This man is suddenly, and unexpectedly, ‘elf-shot’. As he tries to recover, and his vision goes blurry, he realises that a large group of birds are gathering in the trees nearby. Almost like they’re watching for something to happen.

It’s an average horror short with almost no substance that can best be summed up as Jeepers Creepers in three minutes and without a convicted paedophile writer and director at the helm (go read up about Victor Salva).
