Bloodstock 2026 Band Feature: Dosed
Where does the time go!? Once again, Bloodstock is right around the corner, and once again, it is shaping up to be one the best festivals of the year. Not just because there are a variety of bands spread across its main two stages, not just because it is packed with fun things to do, great food and drink to enjoy, and tons of likeminded people to experience it all with, but because it champions the future of the scene with its New Blood and EMP stages. Where unsigned bands, some handpicked, but most coming through the Metal 2 the Masses events, get to play the festival.

It can be an absolute gamechanger for a band to play the New Blood or EMP stages and plenty have gone on to bigger and brighter things. We know, we’ve been paying a lot of attention to that side of things for a long time now, and every year, tried to feature as many bands playing as we could. While we can’t promise that we will see all these bands at the festival, we can promise that you will find a wealth of talent should you wander over to either.
Who knows, you may even end up finding your new favourite band.
It’s almost time for BOA 2026, so it’s time to get to know some of bands who will be playing the New Blood Stage or the EMP stage. This is Dosed!

First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself. How and when did you get started?
Yo! Dosed started at the end 2024 with the complete line up that you see today! We’ve all known each other for years through various past bands and projects scattered around the South Wales music scene, so the bond of friendship started long before that!
Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?
We play aggressive hardcore punk music and some like to describe that as metallic or thrashy hardcore. To be honest we don’t care what people want to call it as long as they’re vibing with us and get to let the hair down in a circle pit or two! It’s noisy, fast and slightly obnoxious.
How has playing Bloodstock 2026 come about?
We’ve worked our arses off since our conception. Playing as regularly as possible in areas as far as we can reach.
When Simon Hall gave a shout out for bands to reach to him we responded to that call and he picked us from what we heard was millions, if not billions, of bands that were eager to play the prestigious event!
What does it mean for you to play the festival this year?
Man, it’s just a massive honour! Not only to be playing Bloodstock but to be able to do that on the 25th anniversary of the festival alongside so many great bands is just so big for us. We can’t wait to hit the EMP stage. It really is the cherry on our cake this year!
What’s the setlist looking like and can we expect any surprises?
Its fast. It’s hard. It’s loud. Surprises? yes.. Are we gonna tell you? No.
Who are you looking forward to seeing, provided they don’t clash with your set?
Body Count. Overpower. Flayed Disciple. Stampin Ground.. Mate, there’s loads and we’re gonna be all over it!
Ignoring the obvious (tent, sleeping bag, toilet roll, etc.) what’s one thing you should always take with you to a festival and why?
A pair of sliders or flip flops for those showers.. you don’t know what the fuck goes on in there!
It’s post-set, you’re packed away and your press is all done. It’s finally time to kick back and relax, what are you drinking and what are you eating?
After we’re all done necking pints of water with electrolytes and vitamins and all that good shit we’ll be knocking a few cold ones back. Guinness, IPA’s, lagers a few shots. It depends on the bar!
Food is food and we all love it. Personally I’ll be hunting Spud Man to get those carbs back in me.
See y’all there!
Dosed play the EMP stage on the Saturday of the festival. Limited Bloodstock tickets are on sale now and you pick them up here.
